Mr. Shezad Moten first entered the private security sector while attaining his Criminology degree. Having carefully honed his knowledge in various avenues of the security industry over the last 21 years, he quickly recognized that he had an ability to deliver standout customer service while never losing focus on the operational and logistical challenges that go hand in hand with securing a variety of communities and facilities.

Joining forces with Marksman Security in 2012, he works at strengthening the organization by ensuring that its culture of customer service and innovation remains on par with its identity as a leader in the security services industry.

Mr. Moten comes to Marksman with a wealth of experience, including a 10-year stint as president of a South-Florida-based security firm he helped found in 2002. His other experiences range from directing security operations for award-winning commercial buildings in Atlanta to designing and implementing security protocols for some of the country’s most exclusive gated communities.

Mr. Moten holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from the University of Florida and is a proud member of the Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity. He is also a member of ASIS and The National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS).

Mr. Robert Mattila joined Marksman with our expansion into Tennessee. Mr. Mattila lends a hands-on approach to operations, logistics and the management of his teams. He enjoys working with our client partners, striving to exceed their operational and cultural expectations.

Mr. Mattila brings over a decade of experience in the security services industry. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran, having served 12 years, including serving in Operation Desert Strom. After serving his country, Mr. Mattila worked his way up in the private security sector, excelling at both the operational and regional level.

Throughout his career, he has amassed vast industry knowledge, specializing in healthcare and corporate campus security programs. Both his experience and passion enable him to anticipate concerns allowing him to provide unmatched support to our officers throughout Tennessee.

Mr. Mattila earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and Health from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. He is an active member of ASIS International and BOMA.

Originally serving in Marksman’s Tampa office Mr. Robert Haimes was promoted and became an integral part of the company’s expansion into North Carolina.

In 2016, he spearheaded Marksman’s expansion into the North Carolina market, overseeing International Market Center in Highpoint, North Carolina. Mr. Haimes’ experience was called upon yet again in 2018 to manage the day-to-day operations of five Blue Cross Blue Shield corporate campuses in Tennessee, a product of Marksman’s strategic accounts division.

Mr. Haimes is a certified security guard trainer in the state of Tennessee for unarmed security officers. He prides himself on his ability to work and communicate with his entire team, from his daily interactions with his employees to his valued customers and clients.

Mr. Haimes is a graduate of the University of South Florida having attained his bachelor’s degree in Sociology while being elected into the National Honor Society for the Social Sciences.

He is an avid outdoorsman, and spends most of his with family hunting, fishing, hiking and collecting their own food.

Ms. Jeri Reed began her career as a security professional in 2009. Since then, she has worked as a Security Manager, Talent Acquisition Manager, Director or Talent Acquisition and, most recently, Branch Manager. She joined the Marksman family in 2017 as one of our first employees in the Atlanta market, working at the well-known tourist attraction and event venue, College Football Hall of Fame.

As Vice President, Ms. Reed oversees the day-to-day operations of the Atlanta branch, ensuring a quality level of service for our client partners in the region. She maintains oversight of operations, human resources, and talent acquisition.

Ms. Reed has many years of industry knowledge, including physical security, security operations and security management. She works closely with local municipalities such as the Dekalb County Fire Department where she passionately pursues initiatives that benefit our officers, our client partners, and the community in general.

Ms. Reed earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Public Service Administration from Valdosta State University. She is a licensed unarmed security officer in the state of Georgia.
