Mark E. Radi
President & Founder
Marksman Security was founded in 2003 by Mark E. Radi, a South Florida based entrepreneur and former law enforcement officer. Mr. Radi was introduced to security infrastructures at a very young age, living abroad with his family at U.S. embassies in turbulent areas such as Pakistan and Egypt while his father served as a diplomat.
Mr. Radi’s background encompasses several years serving as a law enforcement officer in South Florida as well as 20 plus years of private security experience. He had always aspired to own his own company, and in 2003 seized the opportunity when he established Marksman Security Corporation to serve the security needs of businesses and communities throughout South Florida.
Mr. Radi started Marksman Security to fill an unmet demand for a professional, performance-driven security service. Throughout his career, Mr. Radi has focused on three core values that he attributes to the success of Marksman Security: integrity, consistency, and long-lasting relationships with clients and employees.
Mr. Radi attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from Lynn University. He is a member of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) and is a supporter of the Police Athletic League, Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and Lynn University.

Ezekiel “Zeke” A. Kaufman
Chief Executive Officer
As CEO and co-owner of Marksman Security, Mr. Kaufman’s leadership, insight, and operational expertise have strengthened Marksman’s culture of innovation and collaboration, expanded the company into new markets, and extended its portfolio and scope of service.
Prior to joining Marksman in 2006, Mr. Kaufman was an attorney with a national law firm, focusing on commercial real estate transactions and condominium/community association development. Mr. Kaufman earned his Juris Doctor from Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2003 and his Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University in Hotel Administration in 2000. Mr. Kaufman is a member of the Florida, Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C., bar associations.
As a volunteer Guardian ad Litem before the courts of Florida’s Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Mr. Kaufman represents the interests of children removed from their homes and placed in foster care because of abuse, neglect, or abandonment. Mr. Kaufman was awarded the 2012 Rookie Guardian ad Litem of the Year Award for his work in this area. He also serves on the Admissions Committee of the Cornell Hotel School and is a supporter of Voices for Children.

Shezad A. Moten
Chief Strategy Officer
Mr. Moten first entered the private security sector while attaining his Criminology degree. Having carefully honed his knowledge in various avenues of the security industry over the last 21 years, he quickly recognized that he had an ability to deliver standout customer service while never losing focus on the operational and logistical challenges that go hand in hand with securing a variety of communities and facilities.
Joining forces with Marksman Security in 2012, he works at strengthening the organization by ensuring that its culture of customer service and innovation remains on par with its identity as a leader in the security services industry. Mr. Moten comes to Marksman with a wealth of experience, including a 10-year stint as president of a South-Florida-based security firm he helped found in 2002. His other experiences range from directing security operations for award-winning commercial buildings in Atlanta to designing and implementing security protocols for some of the country’s most exclusive gated communities.
Mr. Moten holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from the University of Florida and is a proud member of the Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity. He is also a member of ASIS and The National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS).

Jason R. Logsdon
Chief Innovation Officer
Mr. Logsdon’s skills, expertise and experience in property, service, personnel and fiscal management proved instrumental in Marksman’s ability to maintain accountability and consistency throughout its westward expansion. Under the leadership of Mr. Logsdon, not only has Marksman Security successfully entered this highly competitive market, but the branch itself has thrived in unprecedented growth, service excellence and dependability.
Prior to joining Marksman Security, Mr. Logsdon was General Manager for a luxury high-rise in Florida. Notably, he maintains his credentials today as a licensed community association manager and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Las Vegas High-rise and Condominium Association as it’s Vice President. Mr. Logsdon’s previous experience includes over a decade in hotel management/operations for upscale, select-service hotels in Virginia, Washington and Las Vegas followed by branch management in Florida for two of the nation’s largest national banks.
Mr. Logsdon is an alumnus of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas, and gained leadership experience with the U.S. Army Reserve and is a member of ASIS, IREM, CAI, the LVHCA and IFMA.

Harlan I. Press
Chief Financial Officer
Harlan Press has more than 30 years of accounting and finance experience with public and privately owned businesses. In July 2015 Mr. Press was appointed Chief Financial Officer and he uses his financial expertise and leadership skills to streamline and improve the operational practices at Marksman Security.
Prior to joining Marksman, Mr. Press was the Chief Financial Officer for various businesses, where he has accomplished a NASDAQ Capital Markets Uplisting, transacted numerous equity and debt transactions, increased shareholder value, completed and integrated mergers and acquisitions, enhanced revenue growth along with profitability, and has established best practices, developed and implemented automated systems and complex internal controls.
Mr. Press is a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Global Management Accountant, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Richard P. Mullan
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Mullan joined Marksman Security with over 30 years of executive leadership experience in the security industry providing customized security solutions and expertise in all market segments; Commercial Real Estate, Maritime Security, Aviation Security, High-Tech Facilities, Residential Security, Fortune 500 Corporations, Higher Education, Government Services, and Healthcare. He brings results-focused progressive experience with national organizations through cultivating strong customer relationships, developing talents, and building customer & employee centric cultures.
Richard’s leadership experience includes; Chief Operating Officer, Senior Vice President, Vice President/Managing Partner, Regional Vice President, and Vice President/General Manager. Prior to his entry in the security industry Richard had a successful law enforcement career serving as; Assistant Chief of Police, Regional Director for the 1996 Olympics, Executive Protection Director for the International Olympic Committee President, and Special Agent Secretary of Defense Protective Services Detail.
Mr. Mullan holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice & Political Science from the University of the State of New York. He has been an active board member in the United Way and engaged in professional organizations; ASIS, BOMA, Maritime Security Council, IAHSS, and CAI.

Medgar A. Love
Senior Vice President
Mr. Love comes to Marksman Security with more than 18 years of experience in the security industry, previously holding positions as both a Director of Security and Director of Operations. For the past seven years, he has been an indispensable asset to Marksman, implementing security programs for some of South Florida’s most prestigious properties.
Mr. Love’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence make him a natural leader. He is a constant support to his staff and clients alike. In addition to conducting site surveys to identify critical areas of concern, Mr. Love also teaches customer service courses at many of Marksman’s venues.
From Marksman’s Fort Lauderdale headquarters, Mr. Love oversees all account executives and directs operations for the company’s largest market. He also collaborates closely on the company’s day-to-day operations with CEO Ezekiel Kaufman.

Warris A. Moten
Senior Vice President
Customer service and client satisfaction are values Warris Moten has derived from his 18 plus years of experience in the security industry. He has worked in just about every capacity, starting as a security officer and rising to executive leadership. His expertise involves providing customized security solutions for all verticals Marksman operates in.
As Senior Vice President, Mr. Moten contributes to the success of our internal and external processes, develops operational policies and ensures our human capital remains on par with our identity as a leader in the industry. He also manages initiatives to advance Marksman’s strategic vision across the country.
Mr. Moten participates in networking and industry organizations such as ASIS, BOMA, CAI and IFMA.

Todd Carroll
Senior Vice President
Todd Carroll joins Marksman Security with more than 35 years experience in the contract security industry and a well-known record of helping make security firms more profitable, more admired, and better at what they do. He has provided service in such key positions as General Manager, Division Vice President, Regional Vice President and Regional President.
Mr. Carroll is experienced in all facets of field office operation, as well as business plan development and execution for long term growth and profitability. He has expertise in client interface, servicing large, prestigious accounts; and serving as liaison to assure client satisfaction.
Mr. Carroll is known for developing employee discipline and morale, keeping turnover substantially below industry norms, and leveraging employee loyalty and commitment to benefit both the client and the security firm.

Kimberley Castor
Vice President of Human Resources
Ms. Kimberley Castor brings 20 years of executive leadership and experience to Marksman Security’s corporate team. During her almost two decades in the security services industry Ms. Castor has helped manage and develop programs covering nearly every facet of the enterprise including operations, logistics, client relations, accounting and human capital management.
Ms. Castor found her passion for Human Resources upon entering the security industry in 2007. In her capacity as the Vice President of Human Resources she manages the day to day operations of Marksman’s Human Resource departments throughout the United States. Her areas of expertise include employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, labor law and corporate compliance.
Since joining Marksman Security Ms. Castor has been instrumental in the implementation of several business management platforms designed to help Marksman maintain its tremendous growth in new and existing markets. Ms. Castor’s ongoing mission is to maintain Marksman Security’s position as not only a leader in the security industry, but also its position as a premier partner to our valued clients and the thousands of employees that call Marksman Security home.

Michael Carrillo
Vice President
Mike Carrillo leads Marksman Security’s Corporate Headquarters alongside Joel Leffler, Vice President, and Medgar Love, Senior Vice President, where he contributes his 10 plus years of experience in the security industry to our office and field operations teams. Prior to joining Marksman, Mr. Carrillo served in the United States Coast Guard.
Since joining the Marksman family in 2003, Mr. Carrillo has worked in just about every capacity, starting as a security officer and rising to executive leadership. As Vice President, Mr. Carrillo acts as a direct liaison between clients and the company, ensuring security standards, policies and procedures meet the Marksman standard of excellence. He has amassed a vast knowledge of security trends relating to commercial real estate, corporate campus, and residential properties, enabling him to anticipate issues and provide unmatched service.
Mr. Carrillo is committed to strengthening our brand not only throughout South Florida, but nationally as well. He actively participates in veteran support organizations and security industry professional organizations.

Joel Leffler
Vice President
Joel Leffler’s security career began in 1988 when he worked as a part-time security officer while attending college. A U.S. Army veteran with operational, sales and marketing experience, Mr. Leffler saw tremendous challenge and opportunity in the private security sector.
Prior to joining Marksman Security in 2015, Mr. Leffler owned and operated a well-known security services company in South Florida. His commitment to customer service, combined with talent for personnel selection and sales, propelled the company’s growth and success for twelve years.
He brings decades of military, security and customer service experience to the table and is committed to upgrading the professionalism of the security industry. His contributions have driven Marksman’s overall growth, providing expertise to a variety of clients, including residential and commercial real estate. Each day he works to ensure our mission of excellence in service.
Mr. Leffler is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University, where he earned a degree in Marketing and Digital Marketing. He actively participates in CAI, APMA, ASIS and the Aventura/Sunny Isles Marketing Council.

Saul Navas
Vice President
Saul Navas began his career with Marksman Security in 2009, as a security officer. Over the last decade plus he has held positions such as Account Executive, Director of Operations and most recently, Vice President. He is heavily engaged in day-to-day operations, client partner relations, officer training and development, program design, talent acquisition, and business development in our South Florida market, specializing in the Miami-Dade area.
Mr. Navas believes strongly in maintaining a positive and developmental relationship with our officers and that their performance and satisfaction is vital to our growth and success as a company. By offering opportunities for personal growth, professional achievement, and career advancement to our employees he works to prove that professional performance is consistently recognized and rewarded.
Mr. Navas holds a bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. He holds certifications in many aspects of security management, including emergency preparedness, active shooter mitigation, physical security and report writing. He is also a Certified NRA Instructor.

Jake Heathman joins Marksman Security with twelve years of senior leadership experience in the security industry. During the course of his career he has provided his expertise to clients in a variety of market segments including Residential Luxury Condos, Commercial Real Estate, Fortune 500 Corporate Campuses, Higher Education, Manufacturing and Healthcare. Mr. Heathman is a proven industry leader who champions a results-driven professional philosophy in all areas of security services business model. Mr. Heathman forged his knowledge of the security staffing industry while working in some of the most competitive and diverse markets in the United States.
Mr. Heathman has repeatedly demonstrated the ability to develop a best in class product for clients while never losing focus on the importance of supporting his internal teams. His dedication to teamwork and client satisfaction truly highlight his commitment to not only Marksman’s culture but it’s growth as well.
Mr. Heathman is a graduate of the University of Iowa, having earned a Bachelors Degree Finance, as well as another in Entrepreneurial Management.

Corey Benn
Vice President
Corey Benn maintains over 15 years experience in the security, asset protection, and logistics industries. He has extensive experience in designing and implementing successful security programs, and is a key member in the continued growth of our Nevada and California regions.
Since joining Marksman Security in 2014, Mr. Benn has worked in just about every capacity, starting as a security officer and rising to executive leadership. His past positions within the organization have provided him the unmatched, empathetic purview of the officers and clients necessary to succeed in this business.
In his current role, Mr. Benn oversees all branch staff, manages security policies and procedures, and participates in client relations. Mr. Benn has transitioned several key accounts in the Nevada region and aided in the development of our new hire orientation program.
Mr. Benn holds an associate’s degree from Riverside City College where he participated in collegiate sports and on campus outreach programs. He is a CPR/AED/First Aid instructor, and holds training certificates in handcuff, baton, and OC spray.

Jon Roszel
Vice President
Jon Roszel joined Marksman Security in 2018 after a career in law enforcement, and the financial crimes unit of an international bank. His Marksman journey began as an Account Manager overseeing multiple armed security accounts throughout the Panhandle and North Florida before his promotion to Vice President of the Houston, Texas market.
In his current role, Mr. Roszel is responsible for implementing and leading strategic initiatives ranging from the refinement of operations to brand development within his market.
Mr. Roszel enjoys working with diverse workforces, and navigating the opportunities that come with servicing the wide variety of market verticals within the Marksman portfolio. He feels most empowered when he can directly impact our security professionals, helping them deliver on our client promise of excellence in service.
Mr. Roszel earned his Bachelor of Arts from Flagler College. He is a certified law enforcement officer in the state of Florida and highly trained in firearms safety, and use of force policy/procedure.

Vice President of Client Services
Mike Messina joins Marksman with 30 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing security programs for Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Campus, Financial Institutions, and Healthcare client partners.
In his current role as Vice President of Client Services, Mr. Messina oversees our client management process in the Southeast region, delivering quality service to internal and external clients. He is responsible for profit and loss analyses, developing strategies to control overtime, training business development managers, and business plan development and execution for long term growth and profitability.
Throughout his career in the Atlanta market, Mr. Messina has held roles such as Regional Director of Quality Assurance, District Manager, Director of Operations, Manager of Customer Support, Branch Manager, and Sales Representative. He has expertise in client interface, servicing large, prestigious accounts, and transitioning of over 100 accounts throughout the country.
Mr. Messina studied Communications at the City University of New York and is a member of ASIS and BOMA.

Mr. Langrel believes success is born in building effective teams, developing employees, and strengthening relationships with clients.
Mr. Langrel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Wesleyan University. He is a proud veteran who served 13 years in the U.S. Army Infantry. He actively participates in security industry professional organizations such as ASIS and BOMA.

Daryl Moore
Controller
Daryl Moore has been a critical part of Marksman’s long-term strategic success for over 10 years. He started as a front desk supervisor at an upscale residential property in Sunny Isles, FL, and rose to executive leadership. Mr. Moore has an extensive background in high-end hospitality venues, which aligns with Marksman’s reputation for excellence in service.
As Controller, Mr. Moore manages the accounting and financial reporting procedures of the company, nationwide. He oversees all employees involved in the accounting process, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, inventory and compliance.
Mr. Moore also acts as system administrator, analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems, applying operating system updates, patches, and configuration changes and installing and configuring new hardware and software.

Marlyn Hodgens
Director of Human Resources
Marlyn Hodgens has been part of the Marksman Security family for over a decade, first as a client and now as an essential member of our South Florida and Corporate teams. She has over twenty years of human resources and customer service experience that uniquely support her current role as Director of Human Resources.
Ms. Hodgens’ responsibilities include making sure everything runs smoothly in all areas including office management, talent acquisition, HR law, employee benefits, and most importantly the internal and external customer experience. She has a passion for training and mentoring, which has allowed her to be a key member of training teams throughout the company often assisting with large account transitions.
Ms. Hodgens earned a Bachelors of Science degree from Florida Atlantic University. She holds a Florida Class D Security license, Branch Manager (MB) license and is working on her SHRM certification.

Kelsey Harrell
Director of Marketing & Communications
Kelsey Harrell holds the position of Director of Marketing and Communications for Marksman Security Corporation. She is responsible for managing the company’s marketing and communications efforts, as well as helping to establish the company’s long- term strategic vision of reaching new audiences, identifying new business opportunities and supporting the longevity of the current client portfolio. She is passionate about building brand awareness and company culture through creative storytelling and beautiful imagery.
Kelsey joined Marksman Security in 2015 as an Administrator, then quickly rose through the ranks as a Branch Manager and most recently, Director of Human Resources. Over the last four years she has successfully worked in all aspects of Marksman’s business model, including talent acquisition, field operations, client relations, scheduling, payroll and logistics. Her comprehensive work approach and knowledge makes her an asset to our company, clients and employees.
Previously, Kelsey served as an Associate for two full-service marketing firms, working with small businesses and non-profits on marketing, advertising and public relations strategies. During that time, she gained experience in social media marketing, copywriting, photography, web and graphic design. She has always enjoyed the creative aspect of the marketing industry and participates in continued education, as a result.

Wes Brown
National Director of Training
Wesley Brown joined Marksman Security in 2019 as Director of Training and heads our National Training Program. He is an acclaimed trainer with 20 years of experience in the security industry, following 10 years in the U.S. Army as a Sergeant and 10 years as a Deputy Sheriff in Prince William County, Virginia. Certified by the Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) in military, law enforcement and security instruction, he has taught thousands of students on firearms safety, anti-terrorism instruction, defensive tactics and use of force policy/procedures. Mr. Brown specializes in physical security evaluations, risk analyses and business surveys, but his true passion is in developing and teaching security officer coursework and leadership programs.

Mr. Brown leads Marksman Security University (MSU), an innovative online digital university with a catalogue of career enhancing courses. The program is housed within our learning management system, Intellum, an award-winning learning technology company.
Mr. Brown graduated from Northern Virginia Community College, where he earned degrees in Criminology, Psychology, Security Management and Criminal Justice/ Law Enforcement Management.
